Work is an integral component of the Martha
Lloyd Community Services’ continuum of services and care.
We believe that persons with disabilities share our own desire
to be contributing members of society, experience fulfillment
in learning new skills, and benefit from increased self-esteem
when they are rewarded for their efforts.
The CopperTree Vocational Training
and Work Center encompasses
all of these beliefs, and more, in their programs. The CopperTree
programs
offer:
• Vocational assessment
•
Specific skill training
•
Sheltered employment
•
Community work experience
•
School to Work transition program
•
Experience in retail operations
•
Job coaching
•
Placement services
Sheltered vocational experiences are also offered on the Martha
Lloyd campus. Participants may be employed in:
• Food services
•
Beauty shop attendant
•
Custodial services
