People are living longer than ever, thanks to modern science
and a better understanding of the needs of older people. Recognizing
and understanding those special needs, Martha Lloyd Community
Services has developed two programs to enhance the lives of our
senior population. As people retire, disabled or not, they often
find themselves becoming inactive. We recognize that it is important
for seniors to remain active and involved, to assure good physical
and mental health.
Orchard Grove Senior Residential Program
Persons in the Orchard Grove Program will find a relaxed atmosphere
focusing on socialization and recreation. The special
medical needs of persons in this program are a priority. Licensed practical
nurses are available to monitor the medical concerns and the
overall well being of our senior population.
As people grow older, there may be a need for additional support
and supervision. Staff is trained specifically to monitor and
give compassionate care to individuals who may be disoriented,
or suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease.
