In 2000, Martha Lloyd Community Services began a charity golf tournament to raise money for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Over the past decade, the Lloyd Fund Pro-Am Classic has grown to be one of the area’s premier golf tournaments. All proceeds from The Lloyd Fund Pro-Am Classic go directly to the Lloyd Fund.
The tournament's unique format is known as “Captain and Crew with a little help from your Pro.” This format pairs a PGA professional with a team of four golfers. Teams are allowed to use one shot from the professional per hole during the Captain and Crew play.
The Lloyd Fund
Established in 1999 to support financially burdened persons, “because no one should lose their home.” The number of needy residents is growing, placing an economic burden on the Lloyd Fund. Since it's inception, The Lloyd Fund has provided over 216,000 dollars of support for people to live in their homes at Martha Lloyd Community Services.
The Lloyd Fund is governed by a Board of Trustees. It is designed for caregivers like you - people who believe that persons with disabilities are valued members of our society - people who recognize the security and stability that a good home provides.
